Brookgreen Gardens 
Description: In 1931, Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington founded Brookgreen Gardens, a non-profit 501(c)(3) garden museum, to preserve the native flora and fauna and display objects of art within that natural setting. Today, Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture in an outdoor setting by American artists in the world and has the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums on the coast of the Carolinas.

Description: Steve Albert grows vegetables and fruits in the Sonoma Valley of California. He teaches in the garden and landscape design program at the extension college of the University of California at Berkeley. He has had gardens in California, Iowa, Florida and Massachusetts. Steve has served as a director and president of the Sonoma County Master Gardeners, and he is a certified California nurseryman. For many years, Steve was a journalist for Time-Warner, Inc. He holds an MFA and MA from the University of Iowa.
